Change Order Management
Change Orders - Very few projects are constructed without at least one change order. Owners don't like them, and contrary to popular belief, contractors don't either. Nevertheless, we all have to live with the reality that changes to a project's scope of work will likely occur during the design and construction of all but the simplest of projects.

With proper management of the change process, modifications to the work do not have to adversely affect the project. Controlling when and how changes are implemented will assure a successful project, and avoid costly disputes and claims.

We can "tune up" your current change order controls and management processes to improve your ability to predict the ultimate cost of your projects. Or, we can develop and implement complete change management processes and procedures customized to fulfill your project management goals.
Owners - Are you having trouble keeping up with the change process? Is the Contractor and Architect overloading you with too many cost proposals and recommendations to consider? We can assist you, usually, on short notice with: cost proposal reviews, check estimates, time extension evaluations, scope change verification, and other change management tasks to get you over the hump.

Contractors and Subcontractors - Do you need assistance with the preparation of cost proposals, cost estimates, or support for your time extension requests? Is lack of information from your subcontractors keeping you from submitting cost proposals in a timely manner? We can assist you with getting ahead of the curve. Effective management and timely assembly and submission of change order cost proposals will assure that you receive the contract modifications that you are entitled to.
Our change management processes will enable you to monitor all past, current, and potential changes to the project's cost and schedule.
